The Beko Blomberg Leisure Cooker Oven Hob Cooktop Dual Energy Regulator identified by the EGO number 50.55021.100 and the Beko/Arcelik part number C00912531 is a critical switch for controlling dual-circuit radiant heating elements on ceramic or glass cooktops.

This component is often referred to as a Simmerstat or Infinite Switch. This switch controls the power supplied to a dual-zone hob element (one with two heating rings). It uses a thermostatic strip to regulate the temperature of the element by cycling the power on and off at variable intervals, providing continuous control from low heat (simmer) to full heat.
