I will try and help with this problem about Zanussi ZOD35802XK Double Oven,

Hi Ron, sorry to hear about your cooker problem. I'll try to explain it simply. You have the full wiring diagram and I've got the workshop manual too. We need to focus on the diagrams at the bottom of the page.

There are five elements in your cooker, and any one of them could be faulty. You'll need to isolate each element individually and then reconnect the electricity to see if it trips. Alternatively, you can use an insulation tester for each element.

You mentioned you've disconnected the elements, but remember there are five: two in the top oven, two in the bottom oven, and one fan oven element also in the bottom oven. To isolate the problem, disconnect all elements completely and take photos of where the wires come from. Once all elements are disconnected, reconnect the cooker to the power supply. If it still trips, then you've ruled out all the elements.

Make sure no wires remain connected to any element. Also, check the two selector switches, 226U and 226L, for damage as they can sometimes short to earth. Although it's unlikely, you should also isolate and test the fan motors.

Lastly, check the connection block (530 in the diagram at the bottom) at the back of the cooker. You'll need to go through these steps one by one to find which element is causing your electricity supply to trip.

Remember, there's a workshop manual too. This shouldn't be too difficult as long as you've disconnected all elements before trying again.
