Hello. I’ve watched your various videos on the above. Very good thank you. I have a Zanussi ZDC8203W Condenser Tumble Dryer.The mains power is reaching the heater unit and checked across both connectors with m/meter and it’s 240. There is no continuity beep however across the terminals when the mains connectors are removed. Does this mean the element itself needs replacing. If so do you supply these?Sorry I’m not sure how to upload a vid to YouTube but can send a photo if that’s possibleThanksNeil

Hi Neil, thanks for your question about your Zanussi tumble dryer not heating. I've got the workshop manual and wiring diagram for you. These will explain how to test the heating element.

The heating element usually has one or two circuits for high and low heat. There is a cut-off thermostat on the back of the heating element, which might be covered. This thermostat can also become an open circuit.

To test the element properly, you need to take it out and check if both high and low fields have continuity. You can use an Ohm's law calculator to measure it in ohms and understand the wattage. It's a simple job and easy to replace.
