Hi Anthony,

Sorry to hear about the issue with your cooling fan or main oven fan on your Zanussi ZCV66050WA. Let me explain both problems.

Firstly, if your cooling fan is constantly running, it might be a thermostat issue. Before ordering any spare parts, note that there are 5 variations of your machine. Look at the exploded diagram at the bottom of the page. The cooling fan is labelled 510V and its thermostat is labelled 518V.

Here's how it works: When you turn on the oven, the cooling fan won't run immediately. When the oven cavity reaches around 70 to 85 degrees, the thermostat makes a circuit and turns on the cooling fan motor. The fan runs while you use the cooker and continues for about 20 minutes after turning off the cooker. Once the cavity cools below the thermostat's set temperature (75 to 85 degrees), the thermostat should cut power to the fan motor, stopping it. If it keeps running, you might need to replace the thermostat.

For the main oven fan motor, which cooks food, this works with the fan oven element. The main oven fan motor is labelled 510C and its element is labelled 500C. This motor runs whenever the thermostat is set to a temperature and cycles as needed. If turned off, the fan motor should stop. If it runs continuously, it could be due to a faulty thermostat or selector switch. You can test these using videos on our YouTube channel.

Note that the manual I found is not very detailed but it's all I could get without your full model number.
