Hi I have tried to use the guide to my Zanussi Z716WT83BI washer dryer that you have published online and trying to use the diagnostic programme I get the code E73. Consequently I have replaced both NTC drier sensors without success.Could you please help by confirming which buttons you need to press to display the error code (assuming the rotary knob is set to position 11 in a clockwise direction).Many thanks for your help thus far.

Hi Gary,

Sorry to hear about the problem with your Zanussi washer dryer. If it skips to the end of the drying cycle, it usually means there's a fault with the machine. Let’s go through some things to check.

Firstly, the heater is at the top of the machine with a fan motor next to it. If there's any restriction in the airflow through this compartment, it can cause false readings on the NTC sensors. Make sure the fan is running at the correct speed and clean all the ducting units.

Secondly, at the back of the machine, there is a condensing plate. This works with one of the water valves, allowing a small trickle of cold water down the back of the plate. As warm moist air passes over this cool area, it condenses into water, which goes to the base and gets pumped out. Ensure all these components are working correctly.

I’ve added the workshop manual and wiring diagram to help you repair this machine. The manual will assist in diagnosing problems and understanding where connection points are on the circuit board. Sometimes, a high-amp relay on the circuit board can be faulty. I've seen this before and had to order a new relay and solder it onto the board. This can save you from replacing the entire board.
