Sorry to hear about the problem with your Zanussi TD4113W tumble dryer. This is a vented tumble dryer, and it’s usually quite simple. You need to know about the door lock system. It includes the door handle and a pecker mechanism that locks into the framework to keep the door shut. There is also a pin and a microswitch system at the top of the door. This must be activated for the machine to work.

Sometimes, the plastic bit attached to the top of the door can break. Even if the door is shut, it can't activate the machine because this part is broken. This is quite a common fault. Many people accidentally break these parts, especially when cleaning.
