Samsung WW90TA046TT/EU Washing Machine Display Goes Round In Circles
Hi,I have Samsung WW90TA046TT/EU Washing Machine and am hoping you can advise and supply me with correct parts to resolve the below fault.Initially, the washing machine bounced itself out of its position under the worktop whilst washing a waterproof duvet cover, I thought this was due to the cover filling with water and de-balancing it, as a result, I re-situated the machine.However, after the above happened the machine would not drain on its next wash of a normal wash of clothes and I had to use the drain hose to drain it and open the door.I removed and tested the pump and it is working fine when connected to 240v, however, when I turn the machine on, the display toggles through all the possible cycles as per the video I sent you.I would be grateful if you could give your recommendations.Many thanks,Martin

Hi Martin,
First, you should never wash things like duvets in the washing machine. An imbalanced load can make the machine jump around. Some modern machines have sensors to stop this, but your machine has bounced out from under the worktop.
Without seeing the machine in person, it's hard to say exactly what's wrong. It's possible the selector dial is malfunctioning. This could be due to a broken component or something jammed on the dial, causing the machine to think it's being turned constantly.
Check if you can start the machine while the dial is rotating. If so, consider disassembling the circuit board from the front panel to check for bad contacts or anything unusual. Also, inspect the sump hose leading to the pump to ensure no bits of duvet are lodged there, blocking water flow.
Heavy items like duvets can cause an imbalance when washing, making the machine jump during a spin cycle. I'm sorry I can't give a precise diagnosis without seeing the machine. However, I would first take photos of all the wiring, remove the circuit board completely, and check all contacts and the dial system.
