Intermittent problems are always tricky to solve. Let me explain the spin process. It seems your washing machine is sometimes spinning and sometimes not. First, try setting the program to a spin cycle with no clothes in the drum. See if it completes the cycle. If it does, the motor is likely working fine.

The issue might be that the machine isn't emptying water quickly enough, stopping it from completing the spin. Clean out the pump and hoses attached to it. Check the sump hose from the drum to the pump for any obstructions like small clothing items.

If the machine can't empty water in time, it might time out and stop spinning. Also, inspect for loose connections or wires with internal breakages due to metal fatigue, especially at the bottom of the drum.

Try running a cycle with the waste hose emptying into a bucket to manually monitor it. If everything works fine, you might have an issue with the circuit board. Sometimes you can find a second-hand machine with different faults and get a cheap circuit board from it.
