It seems your washing machine has a brush motor. The first thing to check is the carbon brushes in the motor. This is a simple task, and there’s a video below to help you. There’s also a link above for any parts you might need. Note that there are two variations of your machine, so ensure you have all the numbers from the identification plate handy.

If the carbon brushes are worn down, replace them. Make sure to inspect both brushes, not just one. The machine rotates more in one direction than the other, so they can wear unevenly.
