Panda PAN60SF Portable Electric Dryer Stopped Working
Panda PAN60SF compact portable electric dryer stopped working, but I noticed if I stick something small like a pen into the hole on the dryer the dryer would run. I know that there is a prong on the dryer door that goes into the hole of the dryer that starts up the dryer. I'm thinking that the part inside the dryer that the prong goes into is what is bad. I'm not sure if it's called the safety switch or door switch. Can you please tell me what you think it is. Do you also sell the part that I need? Thank you very much

The pins inside the door can sometimes break at the end, making them a bit short. If you can start the machine with a pen, it means either the switch is working fine or the bar inside by the switch has bent slightly. This bending may prevent the pin from activating the switch when the door is shut.
First, inspect the door pin to ensure it shows no signs of breaking. If it's the standard length, you might need to adjust the switch bar by bending it slightly so it activates sooner. This issue is common and was originally seen in machines made by White Knight, which had similar problems over the years.
Sometimes, I've replaced these pins with a metal pop rivet. However, due to heat, the plastic can get hot and cold, becoming brittle and breaking. So, check that the pin on the door is the correct length and not broken. Then, look at the switch bar inside the machine.
Since you can start the machine with a pen, it's likely that the switch itself isn't broken. This suggests that while the switch is fine, the bar has moved too much and isn't allowing activation.
