Miele W5965 Washing Machine Will Not Power On

I will try and help with this problem about Miele W5965 Washing Machine,

Hi Bruce, if your Miele washing machine won't power on, start by checking for 240 volts at the top right side where the electrical cable enters. This connects to an electrical filter or suppressor. From there, two wires usually go to the printed circuit board. Ensure you have 240 volts going either to the circuit board or an on/off switch.

Next, test the switch. Switches typically have a live and neutral side, so check both sides to ensure the switch operates correctly. If the switch is on and 240 volts are coming out towards the circuit board, you might have a problem. There could be a fault on the circuit board.

Sometimes there is a fuse on the circuit board, but this depends on its design. Without schematics, I can't be precise about this machine's circuit board layout. Test all these points. If you have power going to the circuit board but nothing lights up, then there's an issue with the circuit board.

If lights are on but the machine isn't starting, also check the door interlock.
