Recently, these dryers have had motor changes. If you have an early model, it has a motor and a capacitor that starts the motor. If the drum isn't starting and you need to push it, it means the capacitor needs replacing. You can find the capacitor size on its side; it will say how many microfarads (UF) it is. Just replace it with one of the same size.

However, some newer models have a motor with a built-in capacitor that you can't change. You have to replace the whole motor. It's frustrating what manufacturers are doing nowadays, making machines with limited lifespans. They seem more interested in selling products than making them last.
