LG WM3570HWA Washing Machine Will Not Wash Or Unlock the Door
When I shut the door and start a wash cycle, my LG WM3570HWA washing machine locks the door and display the error DE1. I am unable to open the door and release the lock unless I pull the plug and wait a couple minutes. What I noticed is that I hear what sounds like is a clicking sound coming from the back, top left of the machine. It makes two clicking sounds and repeats after 15-30 seconds. I believe that is where the circuit board is located and it is malfunctioning. If you can send me a parts list, based on model and serial numbers, I would like to fix myself and the next round of beers are on me!

Good morning, David. From your telephone number and model number, it seems your appliance is from the United States. I don't have much technical data on this model, but I know the DE error code means Door Interlock Fault.
First, check the wiring from the door interlock to the circuit board. Ensure there are no bad connections or chafed wires. If everything looks fine, try replacing the door interlock before considering the circuit board, as circuit boards are expensive and may need programming. You might need technical help for this.
