Sorry to hear about the problem with your LG washing machine. You'll need to check the drum bearings and the spider. If the machine is noisy, especially during a fast spin, it's usually an issue with the spider or bearings. This isn't a difficult job, but it will take a couple of hours.

This machine isn't UK-based, and I'm not in the workshop this week because I'm travelling currently to attend the IFA trade show in Berlin, where LG has a stand. You'll need to split the drum, and the workshop manual shows you how to do this. Go to page 41 and look at the drum bearing kit (K121) and the spider that attaches to the back of the drum (K115).

I hope this helps. Although this isn't a UK model, we have many LG videos available. This machine is larger than normal European models, so watching the dismantling video might help you understand how some components come apart. I've also made a short video to assist you.
