LG WD14070SD6 Washing Machine Keeps Saying Check Water Supply & Stopping
Hi I messaged your YouTube comments and you says to contact you here about the above LG WD14070SD6 washing machine, I want to know how to check the error codes on this model to further diagnose. I have checked both cold and hot hoses, they are both flowing vigorously, I removed the screen filter and still no luck, have checked the soap tray and cleaned the filter on the bottom right of the machine.Even switched hot and cold hoses to eliminate a kink or hose issue! Any suggestions would be appreciatedThanks Neil

If the machine isn't filling with water, and you have good pressure and flow at the water valves, you've checked the filters and everything seems clear. Have you tested the water valves themselves? You can use a meter to check if electricity is reaching the valves when set to a programme. You can also do a continuity test on the valves to ensure they are working properly. If you dont' have a multimeter, you can buy a new one via our affiliate link.

It's possible there might be a fault with another component, like the pressure switch, but usually, it's an open circuit in a water valve that stops water from entering the machine. If no water is going into the soap drawer, it means there's either no water present, no electricity at the valve, or the valve is faulty. It can only be one of these three issues.
I doubt it's a problem with the circuit board, but you should check the water valves first. Regarding your model number, it wasn't in the database. I found a WD14070D6 but not SD6, so there might be a typing error or perhaps you're unsure of the exact model. I've added a link below for LG parts; just enter your model number there.
