LG FWV796STS Washer Dryer Door Won’t Lock, DE2 Error Code
Hello, I have LG FWV796STS washer dryer.I saw your video on LG washing machines with the error code 'DE2'. We've tried a few of the suggestions in the manual of resetting the machine at the wall etc but the code persists.I'd like to try replacing the interlock to see if this fixes it. Do you have one in stock for this model?Best wishes,Richard

If your LG washing machine shows a DE2 error code or similar DE errors, the door lock might be faulty. First, check the continuity and inspect the wires from the printed circuit board to the door lock. If everything looks good and the door pin locks properly, the door lock likely needs replacing.
Use your LG model number in the link on the sidebar to find the right door lock for your machine. Replacing it is straightforward. Just peel back the door seal after removing the outer door band to access the door interlock. There's a video below to guide you through the process.
