Great tutorial video. I have LG FH4U2VCN2 washing machine. The 10mm drain hose was blocked but all the other hoses and the filter were pretty clear. The drain hose was only blocked towards the bleed end so I surmise this would not interfere with the draining of the machine because the bleed nipple is in effect a blockage, so it left me with the pump. The pump harness is proving continuity but the pump is giving me an ohms reading of around 175. I take it the ohms reading to be expected around 158 would suggest the pump reading 175 is an error. Can you say this would be a reasonable conclusion?

I'm sorry to hear about the problem with your LG washing machine. I can't comment on someone else's meter reading since I don't know when it was last calibrated or what the pump should be without seeing it myself.
If your machine isn't emptying, check the sump hose as objects often get stuck there. Some new LG pumps use DC motors, so confirm if it's an AC or DC motor. Without the machine in front of me, it's hard to say more because there are 15 different variations of this model, as you can see in the link above.
The pumps are usually not expensive, and if you're unsure, you might want to replace it. If you have the right equipment, you could test the pump on the bench by supplying it with the correct voltages.
I'm sorry I can't give a definite answer on your meter reading; I don't want to provide incorrect information. If I could test it myself, I'd have no problem, but I can't rely on others' readings.

I was disappointed to see their focus on AI and integrating washing machines into homes. Why manufacturers are making machines more complicated and reducing their lifespan is beyond me.
