Washing machines have water valves that go into the soap dispenser and a recirculation pump that moves water from the bottom to the top of the door seal. If it's this jet you're trying to clear, you should take apart the pump and follow the pipe up to the door seal. You can blow through the pipe to check for blockages. If the pump isn't pressurising water enough, it might not reach the top to spray on the clothes.
