Indesit IDCE8450BH tumble dryer would cycle but clothes would still be wet or damp. It would get warm to start and then be cold in the drum after its finished.it through out a fault code F03 and all the lights were flashing.I replaced the heater element with the thermostats included which fix on the back of the dryer.tried the dryer and it gave the F03 code again, so not sure which part has failed? Could the issue be the front thermostat or possible board issue? Thanks

Hi Simon,

Thanks for contacting me about your Indesit tumble dryer. There are six different versions of this machine. The F3 error code usually means the forward thermostat might be faulty, so you need to check it. I'm not sure if your model has an NTC sensor or an actual thermostat because there are six variations.

If you click the link above, it will take you to a page showing all the different versions and their parts. It's important to test the thermostat or NTC sensor to make sure it's working properly. Also, double-check that you've wired your new heating element correctly, as that could be an issue.

This machine has a circuit board that controls the drying cycle, and I've seen the relays on these boards fail quite often. Look at the exploded diagram below and find part number 335, which is the thermostat. I can't tell you exactly where it's located since I don't have a workshop manual for this machine. However, I believe it's on the front, and you may need to remove the whole front panel to access it.

I think I made a video about this, but you'll need to search my YouTube channel to find it. Remember to use your full model number when ordering any parts to avoid mistakes.
