Indesit Condenser Tumble Dryer IDC8T3BUK water tray not filling.
no water in tray. drum gets hot ,have changed pump but still nothing. There is a tapping sound from right of machine which dont know if that got anything to do with it. im at a loss.

You need to actually test the pump is working, in the video below you will see the I pour water into the pump collection tray, and then it recirculates if it does not circulate this means the pump is not being activated you may have a problem with the float switch or the maybe no power going to the pump assembly. if the tumble dryer is heating there must be water condensing on the aluminum plate in the bottom. it is worth checking the fan blades for the noise and also the jockey wheel
