Sorry to hear about the problem with your Indesit dishwasher. I want to ensure you're checking the heating element correctly. There are usually two thermostats in line with the actual heating element. Make sure both have continuity. Don't just check across the two probes going to the heating element, as a failed thermostat will prevent power from reaching the element.
