Hi Steve, if you've replaced the door interlock and still see an F06 error code on your Hotpoint WMXTF942 washing machine, there might be an issue with the wiring harness. Check it carefully, as it can sometimes get damaged or burnt. There could also be a problem with the printed circuit board.

Unfortunately, there's no easy fix for this. When ordering spare parts, keep in mind there are 24 similar models of this machine. I've included an exploded diagram of the machine below to help you.

If you need a new circuit board, consider getting a second-hand one. Many machines with bearing or other issues are available on eBay. You could use their circuit board for your machine and gain extra spares too.
