Hotpoint washing machine NM11946BCAUK is stopping mid cycle.
My Hotpoint washing machine only 1-year-old, was working fine and now suddenly is stopping always in the middle of the cycle just after it is emptied on the first rinse the machine just sits there and does nothing

This sounds like you may have a problem with one of the washing machine water valves there are normally two or three valves as you can see in the exploded diagram below one of the coils on the valve may have gone faulty you can see all about this in all the videos on water valves.
