This sounds like you have a blockage you want to check the pump, take out the filter I make sure there is nothing wrapped around the impeller blade, please do an electrical test on the motor itself to make sure it's working.  check the sump hose for any blockages this is the hose that comes from the drum to the pump and also check the waste Outlet
