I will try and help with your Hotpoint Washing Machine HY6F3551PUK problem

This sounds like you may have a problem with one of three items the most common to fail is the heating element will go open circuit and needs replacing, or you may have a problem with the NTC sensor,  on some occasions there is a possibility that the main circuit board may have failed and on odd occasions, I have come across the pressure switch failing as well you can see all these parts in the exploded diagram below and I've included some videos to assist you if you need any parts just click on the relevant Parts in the list below the diagram
