Sorry to hear about the problem with your  Hotpoint washing machine. If the bottom concrete block is loose but the bolts are tight, you'll need to remove the drum from the machine. First, disconnect all the electrics and hoses, then lift the drum out. It's not an easy job, but it's worth doing.

We hope there’s no damage to the bolts attached to the plastic at the bottom. If these are in good condition, one of two things might have happened. Either the concrete has started crumbling and needs replacing, or the spacers used to tighten the concrete block are inadequate and may need an additional washer.

Hopefully, it’s just a matter of adding a washer, which is easier to fix. If you need a new concrete block, you can find many machines on eBay with electrical problems or other faults for £15 to £20. You could buy one and salvage the parts you need.
