I will try and help with your Hotpoint FTCD9726PM1 Heat Pump Tumble Dryer problem

 you need to make sure that all the filters are clean,  if this does not cure the problem  then you have some type of electrical fault the most common with these heat pump dryers is the compressor not starting or the compressor is running but there is no gas in the system,  on most occasions you will need an engineer to look at this as they are not easy machines to work on.
