Hotpoint DWF33 Dishwasher Not Washing Properly & No Washing Of Pots

Hotpoint DWF33 dishwasher is an old model, but inherited when we moved into our home in December 2011. It has been fine over the years we’ve owned it and I’ve maintained it with regular check ups, dishwasher cleaning products, salt refills, etc and now it has simply stopped washing. It has no water coming out and hasn’t been used for a while so ideally we hope we can fix it with minimal costs (I am out of work due a contract not being extended with Thames Valley Police and my Wife has been unable to work until recently due to her mother being in a hospice for end of life care, so any suggestions to save money would be highly appreciated). I did watch your YouTube videos regarding potential solutions, though not certain if they would apply to such an old machine, but I’m open to any advice or suggestions.Kind regards

I'm sorry to hear about your problems with the Hotpoint DW-F33 dishwasher and your family issues. I'll do my best to help you save money. There's too much focus on consumerism and not enough on helping customers these days.
You didn't fully explain the dishwasher problem, so I'll make some assumptions. You mentioned it's not washing like it used to. This could be due to several reasons: water distribution issues, heating problems, or the machine not finishing its cycle.
I'll assume the machine is heating the water. If it's not, you can use the videos below to test the heating system. If the machine fills with water and completes the cycle but dishes aren't clean, there might be clogged spray arms full of old food particles. This stops them from spraying water correctly. Another issue could be the pump not pressurising properly, possibly due to a faulty impeller or motor not turning at the right speed.
When you open the door mid-cycle and hear the motor running, water should splash everywhere, and spray arms should rotate. If they don't, it might be a motor problem. It would help if you could video the process, upload it to YouTube, and send us the link for better assistance.
There are six variations of your dishwasher model. Use the full model number and serial number from the identification plate when sourcing parts. Even if your machine is old and parts are unavailable, we might find some using genuine part numbers on eBay or other shopping channels.
