Hi, thanks for your question. First, check the circuit board for small capacitors. If you see any with domed tops, it usually means the capacitor has blown, which might be why the screen isn't displaying. It's worth checking because these capacitors cost only about 40 to 50 pence each.

If you need a new programmer, that's a different issue. I wouldn't recommend buying a new circuit board because it's expensive and may require special equipment to program it. Instead, look on eBay or Facebook Marketplace. You might find the same machine with a burnt-out heater or motor fault for around £20. You can then use parts from that machine to fix yours.
