Hoover Tumble Dryer HL C9LG-80 Rear heater housing fills up with water
Hi there, A tumble tumble dryer I bought to fix was having tripping issues after a few hours use. Found condensation building up in the rear heater housing at the bottom and the air circulation impeller was flicking it up onto the heater unit causing it to trip off the circuit. Stripped down dryer and inspected all air ducts, tested sensors, cleaned condenser everything I could think of plus what’s recommended online. Got it back together and was working a treat, but after a few hours water had built up again in the rear heater housing at the back and at a loss really. Rooms not hot or cold as I know this can effect condenser dryers and it’s ventilated well. Any advice or something I’ve not thought of?Many Thanks

I have come across this on a few occasions this is normally down to either the tumble dryer not being situated in the correct climatic conditions where the condensing process is not working correctly, ( This rules out the installation in garages, basements, attics, closets, balconies, terraces and the like.)
you also want to make sure that the pump unit is functioning correctly. make sure the heat exchanger is Thoroughly clean and I can't emphasize this enough if the machine is unable to condense the vapor into a liquid it has a tendency to collect in the back area. The Vapor should be condensed on the heat exchanger and then goes down to the collection tray where it is normally pumped into the Water collection bowl. it is well worth watching the videos I put below that will show you the whole layout of this condenser dryer it might not be on your model but it will be very similar I have also added an exploded diagram of your machine to assist you in finding all the componentsIf you want to support the site please mark us to your favourites, also I would be grateful if you would subscribe to our social media channels as this really helps my site and keeps us going.
