Hoover HW69AMBCB/1-80 Washing Machine E08 fault E08 has been an on and off error over the last few weeks, machine works then doesn't ... sounds like its stuck and doesnt turn the drum now ... i was hoping its just another bruches problem but the motor is a sealed inside (Nidec WB102D53C90) P/N 41049777 .... how do i know if its the motor sensor or/and the motor ... The E08 error code usually indicates a problem with the motor rotation. Since this is a modern machine with a three-phase motor, the issue might be with the printed circuit board. The motors on these machines are quite robust. I have included some workshop manuals that show the ohms reading for each field of the motors, so you can test it. From my experience, the circuit board often has a blown track or becomes faulty, which is a common problem.
If there is no rotation at all, it usually means there is no electricity reaching the motor. You can test this. There is also a wiring diagram for the machine to help you follow the circuitry. I hope this information helps you.
