Hoover HOC3E3158IN oven while baking it stopped, all display came off, fuse did not cut. Socket supplying oven is ok, as it supply power to ignite the Gaz hob.Socket using 13A. After testing again light flashed on, and went off.Thanks

Good morning. Sorry to hear about the problem with your Hoover oven.

The first thing you need is a multimeter. It's the only way to check it properly. If you don't have one, you can buy a new multimeter via our affiliate link.

Look at the exploded diagram in your machine's PDF. You should have 240 volts coming into the connection block, which is part number 131. Check the wires on the external side and behind the plate to ensure good connections.

From there, according to the wiring diagram (which isn't very clear in the workshop manual), the wires should go either to the control card (part number 132F) or the selector switch (part number 90). Make sure the selector switch is in good condition.

I have videos on my YouTube channel showing how to inspect connections and points on the switching unit. Sometimes these can fail due to incorrect oven use. By incorrect use, I mean turning the selector switch when the thermostat is already on. This causes excess load on the contacts and can burn them out.

Another possible issue could be a dry joint on the circuit board or a faulty board that needs replacing. Without seeing the cooker, it's hard to diagnose based on your description alone. But I hope this information helps and points you in the right direction. At least now you have the wiring diagram for your machine, which should assist in understanding where all the connections go.
