Often, manufacturers sell the capacitor only with the motor, so you have to buy the whole unit. But don't worry, we have universal capacitors that will fit your machine perfectly.

I need to know the size of the capacitor, which is usually between 7uF and 9uF, depending on the motor type in your machine. You'll need to dismantle the machine to find the capacitor. This isn't easy on Hoover tumble dryers, but it's worth doing properly. Good maintenance saves money on energy and improves efficiency.

As you take apart the dryer, keep a vacuum cleaner handy to clean up dust and fluff. Make sure to vacuum around the motor carefully to remove any fluff that could cause it to overheat. Clear all passageways before replacing the capacitor.
