It works for about 20mins before alarming beeps and stops with a E60 error code. Which is an error code not listed for the machine anywhere.

I will try and help with this problem with your Electrolux tumble dryer
This is always a hard one to ascertain the exact fault. E6 series of faults is all to do with the heating system.
Error code E60 is visible to customers and (could be E61, E62, E66, E68 and E69 only visible in service mode) means a problem with heating phase.
Possible failures: heating element faulty, NTC sensor faulty, PCB faulty, wiring or you might have blocked filters
