ElectriQ EQDWTTGF Table Top Dishwasher Shows Ed Error Code

My ElectriQ EQDWTTGF compact dishwasher shows an Ed error, and I suspect the control board.The machine goes through a cycle but shows the Ed fault. When I press the P button, it then shows P1, and then I press P again to select a higher number. It still shows P1. After that, I open the door, wait about 5 seconds, and close it. The display now shows P2, but again, after about 30 seconds, the display shows an Ed error code.The machine goes through a cycle and appears to be doing a clean job. I have checked the machine as per your excellent video. All connections seem clean, and the machine does have a good secure earth, micros, etc. that are functioning. Suggestions and spares, please.

Hi John,
These dishwashers are made by a Chinese company called Midea. The video below shows the workshop manual and explains the ED error code. This error is usually due to a communication issue between a component and a circuit board, or the circuit board itself may be faulty. It could be the main circuit board or sometimes the display board inside the front panel.
It's hard for me to give you precise advice on this one. I've only created a video on the workshop manual. It's worth watching to see if you can find any useful information. The parts are very difficult to obtain. Many of these dishwashers are branded differently but are actually made by Midea. If the brand doesn't provide the correct model data, it becomes very difficult to determine which parts you need.
