Electric range cooker started making a loud rattling noise

my electric range cooker started making a loud rattling noise. I had been using it earlier and it was still warm. I switched it on again which is when it made the noise. It has now cooled down and is not making any noise. The clock it flashing but the cooker light doesn’t come on. Any ideas

Hi Tina, the first thing i would check is the fan motor as that’s the only real moving part in the oven, check out the videos in our repair section to understand how to get at the fan motor. i will need your full make and model number to help you further.
