Hi Paul,Our Cookology CMDW2BK Dishwasher recently got the E1 code. For us it's not worth doing the repair because we're about to move, and the front panel has been malfunctioning as well. Since your videos on the Midea dishwashers have helped us in the past we were wondering if you'd like to take the unit and strip it for parts to sell in your shop. We'd rather it get put to good use over sit in a landfill or recycling centre. Let me know what you think.Happy New Year's,Sam

Hi Sam,
Sorry to hear about the problem with your Cookology CMDW2BK dishwasher. Thank you for offering the machine, but it's not worth me driving to collect it as it's uneconomical. I suggest putting it on eBay as a giveaway; someone will appreciate the spare parts. I also dislike appliances ending up in e-waste landfills.
Regarding the E1 error code: if this happens during the water inlet step, it means the flow meter isn't detected by the software. This can be due to calcification in the machine or a faulty impeller circuit board that measures water intake. Check the water supply going to the machine, ensure the inlet valve is working correctly and allowing enough flow to turn the impeller, see if the flow meter is spinning and water is passing through, check the pressure switch, and inspect all related wiring.
Thanks again for offering the machine. I'm glad my previous video helped you keep it running. These CMDW2BK dishwashers have many issues, as shown by the number of questions I get about them. Again, thank you for offering the machine, but I would suggest giving it away on Facebook Marketplace or eBay. Someone will appreciate it.
