Replacing the capacitor is a tedious job because there is no direct access to the motor. You will need to remove the lid, facial panel, front panel, and seal to access the front of the machine. It is usually easier if you take out the drum and remove the belt. This will allow you to clean up any fluff and lint that has built up over time.

Use a soft paintbrush with a vacuum cleaner to hoover out the motor area. This will prevent overheating and future problems, making your machine work more efficiently and use less energy when drying.
