Hi Derek sorry to hear about your problem with Candy GV168T3W Washing Machine. There aren’t many different types of carbon brushes, but I will need to see detailed pictures of yours.

When you remove the carbon brush from the motor, it comes in a holder. At the bottom of the brush, there are usually a couple of pins called location lugs and a couple of screw mountings. I need a picture of the underside and another from the side to see the angle of the brush. Some manufacturers produce brushes with a right angle, while others make them with a left angle.

I also need a picture of the back of the carbon brush to determine the size of the electrical connection—whether it’s 4.3mm, 6mm, or something else.
