Hi, thank you for your question about your Candy Condenser Tumble Dryer, model CSC10LF-80. To access the capacitor on the motor, you need to remove the front panel assembly. Unfortunately, the manufacturer only sells the capacitor with the motor, so the exact size isn't listed in their parts list. But don't worry; it's an easy fix.
First, remove the front panel and disassemble the machine until you can see the inner drum. I've added some videos below to help you replace the capacitor. Before removing the wires from the capacitor, take a photo of the wiring configuration for reassembly. On the side of the capacitor, you'll find a number followed by UF (microfarad), which indicates its size. Once you have this information, you can order a new capacitor.
Typically, these capacitors range from 7 to 9 microfarads, depending on your model and motor. I've also included a wiring diagram and technical information with exploded diagrams of your tumble dryer. At the top of the page, there's a link to spare parts for this dryer.
Once you know the size of your capacitor (7 to 9 UF), contact us, and I will send you a link to order it. While disassembling your machine, use an old paintbrush and vacuum cleaner to clean off dust inside. This will help your dryer work more efficiently and save energy.
