Candy CDP 2L1049W-80 dishwasher. The P3 , * and ?$?LEDs are lit and I can’t change the program or start the dishwasher. I have taken the inlet pipe off the pump and can turn the impeller with my finger so it doesn’t appear to be jammed. I have checked the float and used a meter to check its micro switch and it appears okay. I have tried pressing the reset button with the door open. I did manage to get all the LEDs flashing continuously but have tried so many button options I lost the plot and can’t remember which combination I used The ?$? LED looks like two letter Cs facing each otherHope you can help

Peter, I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with your dishwasher. I've tried to understand the issue, but all I can gather is that the control system is locking up. I don't have the technical workshop manual for this model. However, my research suggests that error code P3 might indicate a lack of water. This could be due to a problem with the flow jug.
Even if the propeller turns, it doesn't mean it's working properly. There is a small circuit board attached to the flow jug. If this board isn't measuring the water correctly, it could cause an error and make the machine time out. I'm sorry I can't provide more detailed information on this.
