Bosch WTL6305GB Tumble Dryer Not heating
Hi, I have checked for continuity and the low heat element is faulty. The high heat element has continuity. My question is: Should the dryer still heat with just the high heat element functioning, i.e. without the low heat element? Or could it be an issue with a relay? P.S. The dryer turns on and spins. Good afternoon Darren. On this model of machine I doubt if it would be the relay but I cannot be 100% accurate that one of the circuits being open will stop the program from functioning, if the program is missing a circuit it may be coming up with an error which you cannot see and therefore be timing the program out.
I'm sorry I cannot be much more help with this without having the machine in front of me. these elements are quite expensive, and I wish there was a hack that I could tell you to trick the machine into thinking that it had both sides of the element and therefore eliminating the circuit board problem.
