Hi Paul, I have a Bosch WTE84105GB/35 Condenser Tumble Dryer.I followed your nice and clear videos (thank you) and diagnosed a NTC sensor failure. Hopefully correctly.On buying the new one it has a female plastic socket (rather than a couple of connector wires) which will plug into a male plastic socket. Bought here : https://www.espares.co.uk/product/es1123510/bosch-tumble-dryer-temperature-regulator I now can't seem to locate the male socket anywhere to buy. Do you know a source or do you have any other suggestions? thanksrobert

Hi Robert,
I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your NTC sensor for your Bosch condenser tumble dryer WTE84105GB-35. Two things might have happened: either eSpares sent the wrong part, or the manufacturer has updated the part since production.
If it's an updated part, you should be able to buy the correct connector directly from the manufacturer. It might have come with the new part already. Here's a quick tip: visit any domestic appliance shop and find a used Bosch washing machine or tumble dryer. Usually, all the NTC connections are the same. You can cut this off an old machine and use connectors or solder the new wires onto the new plug. This should fix your problem right away.
I'm sorry you received the wrong component. If the manufacturer won't provide it, getting one from an old machine is your best option. I'm not in my workshop now, so I can't check for you, but I've added exploded diagrams of your machine below and links to spare parts at the top or bottom of the page.
