Bosch WTE 86303 PL Tumble Dryer Wont Heat Up
Hi there,I was wondering if you could please advise me about a a Bosch WTE 86303 PL tumble dryer that wont heat up.I checked the thermostat for continuity - its fine.The NTC sensor which is located at the back of the heating unit - fine.The microswitch (tny266gn) - fine.The heating element values - fine (30 Ohm for one coil, 42 ohm for the other coil). no visible damage or tear.Although everything seems fine, the heating element isnt getting hot enough, and the drying cycle ends with damp (yet hot) cloths.Could you please help me solve the issue?Many thanks.

Hi Shay, sorry to hear about the problem with your tumble dryer. I'm glad you've checked the heating sensors, thermostats, and heating element. You mentioned it's getting hot but still damp. This might not be a heating issue but rather a problem with the condensing system.
The condensing system works simply. Hot air from the heater warms the clothes. This air then travels through the door system and over the condenser plate. If this plate is dirty, it can't condense the water in the air properly. Airflow is created by a fan pulling air into the machine and pushing it through the condenser from the side. The hot air from the clothes moves from front to back. When there's a temperature difference, hot air condenses on the cooler plates. The water then drains to a pump, which moves it to a collection tray.
If there are blockages in the pumping system and water isn't being transferred to the top, it will circulate in the air around the machine. Ensure everything is clean and working efficiently.
