looks like water leaking from sump and dripping down into base triggering float switch, was slow but now for somereason since we took covers off sides to see has got lot worse and water now comes out all over floor. can see gunk has crusted around under edge of sump(?) casing. Have watched and read loads but cannot find how to remove base on these uk models to allow access....very frustrating! yours is the first video I found with same or similar model so wondering if you can give a few pointers on how to access the sum Thank you !

Removing the sump on this model is a very difficult job as the whole base of the machine needs to come off. I suspect the water is coming from a mechanical pump - it may be coming from a pipe or more likely the shaft on the main motor there is a seal that sometimes can start leaking, you can also check the pump.
