Sorry to hear about the issue with your Bosch dishwasher. The SMS25E models are usually very reliable. I'm currently away at the Berlin trade show IFA, where Bosch has a stand that I'll be visiting.

Let's address your problem. If your dishwasher initially filled and then showed an E25 error code, it usually indicates a pump issue. Although you've removed a pipe, there could be other items blocking the pump that you can't see.

I've added a couple of videos below to guide you on removing the pump. It's worth doing this because you'll be able to clean the container thoroughly. It doesn't take much to stop the impeller blade from turning. Remove the pump and, if possible, bench test it. Be aware that some pumps aren't 240 volts but are controlled by the circuit board, so check the pump's voltage.

By taking out the pump, you can clean everything properly and ensure the impeller turns freely. There are three videos on the E25 error code and one on removing the pump. I've also included exploded diagrams of your machine. The pump is reference number 0455. Use this number with the chart at the bottom of the page to find that the genuine part number is 00631200. You can use this number in the search bar at the top of the page to find a replacement pump if needed.
