beko WMB71642S washing machine keeps filling with water even though the electric supply is turned off
can you help please, my washing machine keeps filling with water even though the electric supply is turned off, there’s not a lot of water in the drum but when I haven’t used the machine for a few days I find this troubling, any ideas why this is happening
I will try and help with this problem with your Beko WMB71642S Washing Machine
I suspect that there may be an issue with the water inlet valve. One problem that may have developed with the water-inlet valve is that it is no longer shutting off when the electricity supply is turned off to it. When this happens the valve may leak and drip water into the drum, this is the reason why you are noticing water in it when you haven't used it for a few days. You will need to determine if the reason for this is mechanical or electrical by carrying out a few tests on the water inlet valve, this quite straight forward and easy to do, just follow the instructions in the added video below, the video will also show you how to replace the water valve if needed, i have also included a number of other trouble shooting videos for future reference.
