Hi Richard, I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your Beko KDV F90X range cooker. Thank you for describing the fault in detail. You mentioned that the main oven trips the electrical supply, and you bought a new fan oven element, but it was slightly damaged.

The new element might be faulty and causing the problem. You should contact the seller to get a replacement. Once you fit the new element, if the oven still trips, there might be a combined earth fault. This means more than one element could be exceeding safety earth levels on your fuse board. Sometimes, a mix of elements causes this issue.

You will need someone with an insulation tester, also known as a mega, to check each element individually to ensure none are going to earth. It's rare for a fan motor to cause this type of problem; it's usually the elements. If you are confident with electric, you can also get a mega tester via our affiliate link and test it by yourself.
