Auertech AU205TWYD Mini Tumble Dryer Clunking Noise
I had seen your video on compact tumble dryer service and maintenance. The brand I have isn’t listed, but it looks like it could be put together pretty close to the same. My Auertech AU205TWYD mini tumble dryer is only 6 months old. The filters needed to replaced and I was unable to find the type of filters listed so I contacted the email address on the user manual. They told me which ones to buy, but told me they are not the right size I needed to cut them to fit. I have used my dryer 3 times since replacing the filter and once my dryer warms up it starts making a clunking noise almost like glass rattling and it take twice as long to dry. I have contacted the seller through Walmart multiple times over the last few months for the filter and now this issue and I have had no response. I contacted the email address on the manual. Also no response. Same when I emailed Auertech with the email listed on internet. I am getting nowhere. Do you have any suggestions on what it might or what I can do to figure this out? I have not opened it up since the brand name was not listed. I didn’t want to make things worse without checking if it was ok. I’m sorry about the rambling, but you are the only person I found that may be able to help. Since you mentioned needing to replace the filter, excess fluff might have lodged in components like drum pads or supports, causing the clunking.
