You mentioned your new heat pump tumble dryer stops exactly 30 minutes after starting. The first thing to check is the sensors that detect moisture levels. These sensors can be as simple as two metal bars inside the drum. Sometimes, these bars get covered with material from clothes, giving false readings and stopping the machine.

You might also have an issue with an NTC sensor, but it's hard to tell which one, as there are usually a few. Look at the wiring diagram; you'll see a humidity sensor attached to circuit board 136616401. If these are the metal bars inside the machine, they could be causing the problem.

Another possible issue is with the condensation pump. If water isn't transferring to the collection tray, it could activate the switching system and turn off the machine early. You didn't mention if the clothes are getting warm, so I don't know if the compressor is running correctly.

I've got the full workshop manual, wiring diagrams, and exploded views of your machine. It's worth cleaning out the whole base of the machine if you're up for it. Heat pump tumble dryers often have dust build-up, which can cause inefficiency in drying because it clogs up the heater matrix, evaporator, and condenser unit.

In the bottom exploded diagram, 400A shows the base unit and behind filter 407A. If this area clogs with dust over time, air circulation becomes poor, causing overheating in the drum and turning off the machine.

There are many reasons for this fault, but diagnosing via email is tough. I haven't made many videos on heat pump tumble dryers because they're tricky to work on.

I hope this information helps you fix your dryer. Since they're expensive, it's worth doing a thorough overhaul. Be careful of all the pipework attached to the compressor as they contain gas.
